pet sweat

sometimes i can get pretty thirsty.

i heard about a company in japan that makes sports drinks for people starting to make a similar sports drink for dogs. it’s called pet sweat. my first thought is cool! then i thought, do i need that? will my people buy it for me?

for the most part, i am a straight water drinker. personally, i would rather my people spend the money on squeaky toys.

you can check it out here.

one more thing, pet’s don’t sweat.

having the right car

having the right car for a dog is critical.

my first car was a bmw 320i. zippy, yes - but it was hard to see and the rear windows didn’t roll down. first time i rode in it, i tossed my dog cookies.

the next few cars got worse.

• saab 900 turbo - again great for the people but weak for the dog.

• volkswagon jetta - at least you could roll the back window down and could see.

• 1972 toyota land cruiser - one of the best until i jumped out the rear window. it was on a dusty road and i figured i could make it. i did indeed make it and was very lucky that my people noticed and turned around to come back and pick me up. once i was out and watching them drive away, i recognized that it was a poor choce for a shepherd dog.

finally, the honda crv. plenty of view with the seats turned down and lots of fresh air. this was my perfect cruising mobile.

if i stand by right next to one of the tires, my people will put me in and cruise me to the beach or sometimes just around town. doesn’t hurt to add a little squeak and wag of the tail.
